Appraisal PD with Jan Hill
Follow up PD on teacher appraisals – As I am new to this it was very helpful (and will be beneficial to the teachers I appraise.) Now have a much better idea of how to approach the conversations and what to ask to facilitate positive discourse.
Also, blogging, what to look for – this will also help with my own reflections. I aim to not just reflect on what I have done, was it successful etc but to also think about what I’m going to do before I do it

Content knowledge of The Tell-Tell Heart by Edgar Allan Poe is good but the classes need to work on;
- Answer the question being asked
- Structuring a coherent essay (paragraphs)
- legible handwriting
- Planning their responses (properly)
- Not waffling
